Shipping policy
1 - CONDITIONS
The order can only be dispatched once payment of the full price and transport costs has been received in accordance with the stipulations of article 8.3.
Any event of force majeure, which would prevent or make exorbitant the execution of supply, constitutes, by express agreement, a cause of suspension or extinction of the obligations of Maison Kissaten, without compensation to the benefit of the Customer, in accordance with the stipulations of article 16. Thus, and if the event of force majeure were to extend beyond a period of fifteen days, Maison Kissaten will inform the Customer by any appropriate means in order to agree, if necessary, on an alternative solution and, failing that, to allow either party to terminate the contract by sending a simple letter or e-mail.
2 - DELIVERY COSTS
Delivery costs (including any supplements, in particular for delivery to certain specific areas) are calculated automatically when the order is placed on the Site. A delivery cost simulator is available in the shopping basket form, and these costs appear on the page indicating the price of the order before final validation. In the case of orders placed by e-mail or by telephone, the delivery costs (including any supplements, in particular for delivery to certain specific zones) are communicated before the sale is concluded and then confirmed when Maison Kissaten sends the e-mail asking the Customer to confirm the order.
3 - DELIVERY TIMES
The delivery times below are average times provided for information only.
They may be extended during holiday periods or in exceptional cases.
In metropolitan France: three to five working days from the day following receipt by Maison Kissaten of the order and payment.
Outside metropolitan France: five to ten working days from the day following receipt by Maison Kissaten of the order and payment.
In any case, Maison Kissaten commits to deliver, except in cases of force majeure, the products at the latest within thirty days of sending its order confirmation, subject to payment by the Customer (hereinafter ‘the Delivery Deadline’).
4 - LATE DELIVERY
If the Delivery Deadline is exceeded for reasons other than force majeure or non-payment by the Customer, the latter may cancel the contract either by registered letter with return receipt requested addressed to Maison Kissaten (Customer Service - 23-25 rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau, 75001 Paris), or by e-mail if, after having requested Maison Kissaten, in the same manner (registered letter or written on any other durable medium), to make the delivery within a reasonable additional period, the latter has not complied within this period.
The contract will be considered terminated on the date of receipt by Maison Kissaten of the letter or writing informing it of this termination, unless Maison Kissaten has performed in the meantime. Maison Kissaten will then reimburse the Customer for the sums paid by the latter, within a maximum period of fourteen days following receipt of the letter of cancellation, by bank transfer or cheque.
Consequently, any delivery made after the Delivery Deadline but before Maison Kissaten has received the customer's letter of denunciation cannot in any way justify the cancellation of the order, nor give rise to damages, indemnities or penalties. Nevertheless, the customer can immediately cancel the contract if Maison Kissaten does not fulfil its obligation to deliver the product(s) on the date or at the end of the agreed period and this date or this period constitutes an essential condition of the contract for the customer, the said essential condition resulting from the circumstances surrounding the conclusion of the contract or from an express request from the customer before the conclusion of the contract.
