Delivery and returns
Monsieur Tanuki ships its products to the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom.
1 - CONDITIONS
The order may only be shipped after receipt of payment of the full price and transport costs in accordance with the provisions of article 8.3.
Any event of force majeure, which would prevent or make the execution of supplies exorbitant, constitutes, by express agreement, a cause for suspension or termination of the obligations of Monsieur Tanuki, without compensation for the benefit of the Customer, in accordance with the provisions of article 16. Thus, and if the event of force majeure were to continue beyond a period of fifteen days, Monsieur Tanuki will inform the Customer by any appropriate means in order to agree, where appropriate, on an alternative solution and, failing that, to allow one or other of the parties to terminate the contract by sending a simple letter or email.
2 - DELIVERY COSTS
Delivery costs (including any additional charges, in particular for shipping to certain specific areas) are calculated automatically when ordering on the Site. A delivery cost simulator is thus available from the shopping cart page, with said charges finally appearing on the page indicating the price of the order before final validation of the order. In the event of an order by email or telephone, delivery costs (including any additional charges, in particular for shipping to certain specific areas) are communicated before the conclusion of the sale and then confirmed when Monsieur Tanuki sends the email asking the Customer to validate their order.
3 - DELIVERY TIMES
The delivery times below are average times provided for information purposes only.
They may be extended during holiday periods, annual leave, public holidays or exceptional cases.
In mainland France: three to five working days from the day following receipt by Monsieur Tanuki of the order and payment.
Outside mainland France: five to ten working days from the day following receipt by Monsieur Tanuki of the order and payment.
In any event, Monsieur Tanuki undertakes to deliver, except in cases of force majeure, the products no later than thirty days from the sending of its order confirmation, subject to payment of the order by the Customer (hereinafter "the Delivery Deadline").
4 - DELAY IN DELIVERY
In the event that the Delivery Deadline is exceeded and is not due to a case of force majeure or a failure to pay by the Customer, the latter may terminate the contract either by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt addressed to Monsieur Tanuki (Customer Service – 23-25 rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau, 75001 Paris), or by email if, after having ordered Monsieur Tanuki, in the same manner (registered letter or written on any other durable medium), to make the delivery within a reasonable additional period, the latter has not complied within this period.
The contract will be considered terminated on the date of receipt by Maison Kissaten of the letter or written document informing it of this termination, unless Monsieur Tanuki has performed in the meantime. Monsieur Tanuki then undertakes to reimburse the Customer for the sums that the latter has paid to it, within a maximum period of fourteen days following receipt of the termination letter, by bank transfer or by check.
Consequently, any delivery made after the Delivery Deadline but before receipt by Monsieur Tanuki of the Customer's letter of termination may not in any way justify the cancellation of the order, nor give rise to damages, compensation or penalties. However, the Customer may immediately terminate the contract when Monsieur Tanuki does not fulfill its obligation to deliver the product(s) on the date or at the end of the period provided and that this date or period constitutes for the Customer an essential condition of the contract, said essential condition resulting from the circumstances surrounding the conclusion of the contract or from an express request from the Customer before the conclusion of the contract.
REFUNDS
We accept returns on non-perishable products (equipment and accessories).
Returns are refused on coffees in accordance with article L121-21-8 of the Consumer Code "the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for contracts for the supply of goods likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly".

RETURNS
We will refund products that do not comply or have hidden defects (photos requested), within 14 days, using the payment method used when ordering.

The Customer is responsible for the method of packaging the returned product(s), which must be done in such a way that the product(s) can travel without risk of breakage or damage. Only products returned in their original packaging, complete (accessories, instructions, etc.) and on condition that they are suitable for resale will be accepted. The products must not have been opened or started. They must be protected for return as they were protected for shipping. Any product returned incomplete, damaged, damaged, started or opened by the Customer will be considered non-compliant, will not be refunded and will be returned to them at their expense. The Customer will be informed by email or telephone of the non-compliance of their return as well as the terms of payment of the transport costs. Monsieur Tanuki will only return the non-compliant product once the transport costs have been paid.
In the event of a return that complies with the conditions mentioned above, MONSIEUR TANUKI will reimburse the returned products no later than 10 days following the return of the goods. This reimbursement will be made by transfer to the CUSTOMER's bank account.
As an exception to the provisions of Article L121-20 of the Consumer Code, the CUSTOMER does not have a withdrawal period after receiving an order for coffee or any other edible product (biscuits, tea, infusions, etc.). Indeed, in accordance with the law, this right cannot be exercised for edible goods for reasons of hygiene and safety.
A confirmation email will be sent to you upon receipt of your return.
